UNION TWP, Ohio - Huge crowds showed up at the opening of the new Jungle Jim's International Market that owner Jim Bonamino describes as a Disneyland that sells food.
Jungle Jim's management had Union Township police helping to direct traffic Tuesday morning because they are expecting tens of thousands of people from across the country for the grand opening of their new store, which is located at 4450 Eastgate South Drive.
9 News got a tour of the new 200,000 square-foot facility on Monday, which you can see in the video player above or in a photo gallery at http://www.wcpo.com/gallery/news/news_photo_gallery/jungle-jims-in-eastgate-opens .
The Eastgate location is similar to the Fairfield store in that it includes more than 150,000 products. The outside of the store features a tram from Kings Island and the inside has a pirate ship from a Las Vegas casino.
After Tuesday's opening, the store will return to its normal hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
