Officials seek Sycamore Twp. shooting suspects

SYCAMORE TWP, Ohio - A male victim was injured after he was shot during a robbery in Sycamore Township early Monday morning.

Two men tried to rob 56-year-old Donald Jones in the 1900 block of Chaucer Drive at about 1:30 a.m. When Jones refused to comply with the robbers’ requests, they shot Jones, according to officials.

Emergency crews transported Jones to an area hospital where he is in critical condition.

The suspects fled the scene after the shooting and authorities are looking for them in the area.
