Man arrested in connection with Sycamore Township purse snatching

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that an arrest was made in connection with a purse snatching that took place at a Walgreens in Sycamore Township.

The Sheriff’s Office says Gregory Walker ran toward a 58-year-old woman at 5:24 p.m. on Feb. 5 and knocked her to the ground before fleeing on foot with her purse.

The victim was transported to Jewish Hospital to be treated for injuries she suffered when she was pushed to the ground.

Walker transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center and is charged with second-degree robbery., according to Chief Deputy Mark Schoonover.
