SYCAMORE TWP., Ohio - A car crash that happened near a popular Sycamore Township park was caused by a driver who allegedly overdosed on heroin.

Hamilton County deputies arrested John Jordan III, 33, of Cincinnati, on Tuesday morning on Sycamore Road near Bechtold Park. Jordan was found to be unconscious after driving into the grass there.

Jordan was taken to Jewish Hospital for treatment, and was later jailed at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a felony count of drug possession.

Deputies say a baggie of heroin, a needle and a spoon were found in his Chevrolet Cavalier.

Jordan remembered very little of the incident but did admit to using heroin, according to court paperwork.
