CINCINNATI - If you live in or around Oakley and have a soft spot for Italian food, you’re in luck.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2013 on a new Olive Garden opening at Oakley Station.

Cincinnati City Council approved a community Reinvestment Area (CRA) LEED tax exemption agreement for the new Olive Garden on Jan. 24, according to BuildingCincinnati.com .

Property owner USS Realty, LLC and Orlando-based Darden Restaurants Inc. affiliate N and D Restaurants, Inc. will receive a 15-year tax exemption for the $1.59 million, 7,500-square-foot project at Marburg Avenue and Vandercar Way, which is pursuing LEED Silver certification through the U.S. Green Building Council, according to BuildingCincinnati.com

Construction is set for completion in the fall of 2013.
