CINCINNATI - Multiple people were displaced by a fire that erupted at a home in Mount Washington Saturday evening.
Cincinnati fire crews responded to 1600 Mears Avenue around 5:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a fire at that address. Initial reports indicated the fire was coming from the attic.
Fire crews managed to contain the fire within 30 minutes of arriving at the scene, emergency dispatch reports.
According to emergency dispatch, everyone inside the home made it out safely. Fire officials have not reported how many people were inside the home at the time of the fire.
The fire department closed off streets in the immediate area. As of 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night, crews were expected to be on the scene for an additional hour and a half.
Fire investigators are still attempting to determine the cause of the fire.
