MILFORD, Ohio - Police are looking for a man who robbed a Milford business early Friday morning.

Police say the suspect robbed the Roosters Wings, 101 Old Bank Road, around 12:30 a.m. A small man entered the back door of the business with a homemade mask on his head and a gun, according to officials.

The suspect got away with $2,000, police say. Three employees were in the restaurant at the time, but none of them were injured.

A Milford police officer was just a block away when the call about the robbery came into dispatchers, so he was able to get on scene quickly, however, the thief was also able to make a quick getaway.

Police say the robber wore muddy boots into the restaurant during the robbery and left a distinct track in and out of the restaurant.

Police K-9 dogs were able to track the robber to a nearby fence, but eventually lost his trail. So far no arrests have been made.
