MILFORD, Ohio - The Milford Planning Committee voted in favor of allowing CMC Properties to go ahead with a proposed luxury apartment site along the Little Miami River.

The development will replace the old Clermont Lumber Company Building on the corner of Elm Street and Water Street just a block off Main Street in Milford. Neighbors told 9 News that property has been vacant for nearly 15 years.

The complex will cover almost five acres and include 78 apartments in two large buildings and a section of 31 townhomes.

There are also plans to build a walking path along the banks of the Little Miami River.

Construction of the more than $10 million project will begin sometime later this summer.
