MILFORD, Ohio - A boil water advisory has been issued for the city of Milford following a water main break on State Route 28 Friday afternoon.
Officials say the advisory affects residents and businesses whose water was shut off or affected by low water until bacteria test results are completed.
The streets affected by the water main break include Oakcrest Drive, Valley View Circle, Promont Court, Crestview Drive, Mohawk Trail, Seminole Trail, Sioux Court, Osage Trail, Edgecomb Drive, Castleberry Court, St. Route 28 addresses from 697-703, and Main Street addresses from 1004-1140.
Officials say the advisory is a precaution and does not mean the water is unsafe.
