Any Tri-State resident looking to relocate may want to consider Village of Mariemont as one their options.
The American Planning Association (APA) listed the neighborhood as one of the 10 Great Neighborhoods for 2008 through APA's Great Places in America program.
According to the APA, the area made the top ten list because of its ability for residents to walk or use bicycles to get around, historical character, and its community participation and citizen engagement.
“The result of the strong and cooperative relationship between the Village of Mariemont Council and residents, businesses and the school system has made our community one of the most sought-after neighborhoods for living and working and helped our schools to be among the best in the nation,” said Mayor Dan Policastro.
The village located in Mariemont recently renovated its town square.
It secured National Historic Landmark designation in 2007.
