CINCINNATI - A 25-year-old man who was shot in the neck walked more than a mile before officials found him near Madeira early Wednesday morning.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies and Madeira police found Leonard Lamb, 25, with a gunshot wound to the neck in the area of Camargo Road between Shawnee Run Road and Madison Road in Madeira at about 12:05 a.m. However, evidence located at the scene indicated that the shooting had occurred in the 5200 block of Camargo Road in Columbia Township — a distance of about 1.4 miles from where police located Lamb.
Authorities say Lamb was shot and walked the distance. Emergency crews transported Lamb to University Hospital for treatment. Officials have not released information about his condition at this time.
No arrests have been made following the shooting. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting,
