DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A four-to-one vote has sealed the fate of the historic 20 Mile house in Deerfield Township.
The zoning committee voted Monday night in favor of building a Speedway gas station at U.S. 33 and state route 3.
Residents have fought and petitioned to save the township treasure. It has been around since 1822.
No word yet on when Speedway will break ground.
