BLUE ASH, Ohio - Blue Ash police said 26-year-old Patrick Vennemann was killed after being partially ejected from his Toyota pickup truck early Saturday morning.

The accident happened around 4:20 a.m. on the 11000 block of Grooms Road. Police say Vennemann was driving southbound on Grooms Road, when he went left of center and hit a telephone pole.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the Blue Ash Police Department and the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

Preliminary indications are that alcohol and road conditions did not contribute to the crash.

Grooms Road has been reopened to traffic.
