Shotgun wielding man robs Bob Evans restaurant

BLUE ASH - Police are searching for a man armed with a shotgun who entered a Bob Evans restaurant Saturday and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Staff at the restaurant report a heavyset black male with his face covered with a black scarf and wearing a brown jacket and blue gloves, entered the restaurant shortly after closing and demanded cash in an African accent, according to Blue Ash police.

Officers received a call from Bob Evans at 11:11 p.m. No one was harmed during the robbery.

Police tracked the suspect to a nearby parking lot with a K-9 unit, where it was presumed he fled the scene in a vehicle.
