BLUE ASH, Ohio - Matthew 25: Ministries finalized preparations on Monday for its first shipments of disaster relief to Colorado Springs.

Thousands of homeowners there need after the wildfires.

The Blue Ash-based relief organization included food, beverages and personal care kits in its first shipments that went out Monday and Tuesday.

"They'll send out to all the different people that now have been displaced by the fire, that had to evacuate or are still not right now in their home," said Tim Mettey, Disaster Relief Coordinator for the organization.  "So what we're trying to do is be able to take care of them for a short period of time until they get back on their feet."

The group will continue to monitor the impact of the wildfires and send in more help as necessary.
