Huey Lewis & The News to headline 'Red, White & Blue Ash' this year

BLUE ASH, Ohio - Huey Lewis & The News will headline this year's "Red, White & Blue Ash" celebration on the Fourth of July.

The newly-named OneMain Financial "Red, White & Blue Ash" celebration will take place from 4 to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4 at Lake Forest Drive and Glendale-Milford Road, adjacent to Reed Hartman Highway.

The event will feature music, food and fireworks from Rozz's Famous Fireworks.

"The Fourth of July is one of our biggest holidays in the City and this year's event, from start to finish, will add to that tradition," said Parks and Recreation Director Chuck Funk in a press release. "We love to provide activities that have a nice mix of entertainment for the whole family … This year's lineup satisfies that goal extremely well."

Huey Lewis & The News is best known for its hit records such as "The Power of Love."  The band will take the stage at 8:15 p.m. The band Exile will kick off the concert at 5:30 p.m.

Fireworks start at 10 p.m.

Crowds can start setting up chairs at 7:30 a.m. on the Fourth of July.

Sections of Reed Hartman Highway between Creek Road and Carver Road as well as sections of Glendale-Milford Road between Plainfield and East Lake Forest Drive will be closed at various times during the event.
