BLUE ASH, Ohio - Two hand grenades were brought to the Blue Ash Municipal Center Monday, prompting the isolation and evacuation of the building by police.
Police on the scene said the grenades were brought in a van to the parking lot after 1 p.m.
The bomb squad responded promptly and rendered the grenades ineffective around 2 p.m.
The grenades were brought there by a man who was cleaning out a friend's garage and thought he was doing the right thing to dispose of them, according to police.
No charges will be filed and no one was hurt.
Authorities say if you ever find anything like that, leave it where it is and call 911.
