CINCINNATI - A local high school basketball player was featured Wednesday night on ESPN's Top 10.

Turpin High School's Zach McCormick came in at the No. 5 spot out of 10 plays Wednesday on the network's flagship program, SportsCenter.

A missed layup by a teammate on a fast break was McCormick’s golden opportunity to shine on the court.

McCormick snatched the ball out of mid-air and slammed it in the basket for a tomahawk, put-back dunk.

Turpin defeated Anderson High School in the township rivalry 47-35.
