BLANCHESTER, Ohio - A man was killed in a Blanchester mobile home fire Tuesday morning.

The fire started around 6:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Shull Road.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Department says a 77-year-old man was found dead inside the mobile home. His identity has not been released.

Blanchester and Clarksville fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The home was destroyed as a result of the blaze.

The State Fire Marshal's Office has ruled the fire as accidental. Investigators say they determined the fire originated around electrical components near the nightstand in the master bedroom of the mobile home.

Officials say smoke alarms were present, but it is unknown if they activated.

This is the 91st fire fatality in Ohio in 2010.
