WYOMING, Ohio - Towne Worship Center passed out toys to nearly 40 local children Sunday as a part of an outreach program that started in June.
Members of the church went out and bought gifts for kids and their families. Many of the children had no idea they would receive gifts when they arrived for Sunday services.
"They're just going to be blown away…" said Pastor Eric Petree.
He also said that people should remember the holiday season is about giving, not receiving.
