Local volunteer honored for service to community

CINCINNATI - A local volunteer received a wonderful surprise Tuesday afternoon.
The society of St. Vincent de Paul honored Pamela Farley for service to her community at the West End outreach center.
"I'm not an angel but I just like helping people and I didn't realize that I made that big of impact," said Farley.
Through her work with St. Vincent de Paul, Farley has helped many local families avoid losing their homes, and provided food and a warm place to sleep to neighborhood children.
