Police: Man shot in the face in Walnut Hills

CINCINNATI - A man is recovering at the hospital after reportedly being shot in the face late Thursday night in Walnut Hills.
The unidentified man is in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after he was allegedly shot in the face at approximately 11 p.m. in the 2900 block of Gilbert Avenue, according to police.
The incident occurred near the intersection with Lincoln Avenue.
Police are still working to track a suspect and a cause for the incident.
