Tri-State holds Academy Awards party for a good cause

CINCINNATI - The stars were out in the Queen City Sunday evening at the annual Academy Awards party downtown.
This year’s theme – Salute to the King (Elvis) – brought a bit of Hollywood to the Hilton Netherland Plaza .
9 On Your Side’s own Steve Raleigh had the privilege to once again serve as the event’s emcee.
The Academy provided People Working Cooperatively with official Oscar materials.
Money raised from the event will benefit the Modifications for Mobility program, which helps low-income elderly and disabled homeowners.
Event organizers said they hoped to raise $150,000 for the program this year.
