CINCINNATI - A man has been arrested for allegedly selling more than 25 pounds of pot near a local school.

Police say 51-year-old Leo Bates of Dayton, Ohio sold the pot in a drug deal at Section Road and Ross Avenue in Springfield Township.

Officers say that's within 1,000 feet of children and a school zone.

Bates was arrested at his home in Dayton and is charged with felony drug trafficking. He remains behind bars at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
