CINCINNATI - The School for Creative and Performing Arts is being awarded a $45,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support the school's arts education programs.

The Mayerson Foundation announced Tuesday that SCPA won the money. More than 300 groups applied for the grant.

The money will be used to support the school's Master's Artist Series and Artists in Residence programs for the next school year.

The Mayerson Foundation is matching that money which means the school will have a $90,000 boost for the next school year.
