CINCINNATI - Police have arrested one person they believe is connected to a shooting in Over-the-Rhine early Friday morning.

Police say a shooting happened shortly after midnight in the area of 13th Street and Walnut Street in Over-the-Rhine. They arrested 30-year-old Shalaba Keys for drug possession Friday morning. Officials say Keys was shot in the left foot during the exchange of gunfire.

Officials say they found about 20 bullet casings at the scene. Police are calling it a shootout because they found two different calibers of shell casings on the street. Police also found a Ford SUV with two bullet holes.

At the shooting scene, police found a blood trail that led them north on Walnut and into a building at the corner of 13th Street and Vine Street. Officials found Keys in the building and arrested him.

Police say they are searching for at least one other suspect and have not released any additional details about the shooting at this time.
