CINCINNATI - Officials are searching for a suspect who shot a man in the chest in Over-the-Rhine Thursday morning.
A 32-year-old was shot in the chest in the 1500 block of Elm Street at about 10:15 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene to transport the man, who was alert and conscious at the time. Officials have not released information about his condition at this time.
The shooter ran away from the scene and may have gotten into a white vehicle, according to police. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s.
Cincinnati police responded to the scene of the shooting and investigated. A small section of Elm Street was shut down while crews gathered evidence.
Authorities have not released information about what led to the shooting or the identity of the victim.
