CINCINNATI - After about a week of deliberations, a jury has convicted a man for killing an innocent bystander in Over-the-Rhine earlier this year.

A Hamilton County jury on Wednesday found Michael Crutchfield guilty of murder, three counts of attempted murder, and three counts of felonious assault.

Police say Crutchfield was trying to shoot someone in the 1300 block of Broadway in May, but his bullet hit 20-year-old Brittany Jackson instead.

Crutchfield will be sentenced on Oct. 14.
