CINCINNATI - The second in command for the Environmental Protection Agency, Housing and Urban Development and Department of Transportation are touring projects in Cincinnati looking for success stories.
Mayor Mark Mallory says group is touring Cincinnati looking for success stories to share with cities around the country.
The three agencies work together on a program called the Partnership for Sustainable Communities. Through that project, the group works to clean and successfully redevelop contaminated land in low income communities, stimulate economic growth and provide green transit-accessible affordable housing.
While in Cincinnati, the group will tour Over-the-Rhine, the Washington Park development, the proposed Streetcar project and the Lick Run Watershed.
The Federal Officials continue their tour in Indianapolis on Friday.
