Christian Moerlein to open brewery in Over-the-Rhine

CINCINNATI - Christian Moerlein Brewing Company will introduce its newly expanded brewery, returning Cincinnati’s brewing heritage to Over-the-Rhine as anchor of the Brewery District on Wednesday.

The opening of the craft brewing facility completes the four-phase vision for the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company, which includes returning local ownership of Cincinnati’s beer brands, repositioning the brands, opening of the Christian Moerlein Lager House on Cincinnati’s Riverfront and producing the brands locally in a new craft brewery located in historic Over-the-Rhine, according to an official press release.

The opening will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Christian Moerlein Brewing Company, 1621 Moore Street in Over-the-Rhine.
