CINCINNATI - The search is on for a suspect who robbed a Norwood hotel early Thursday morning.
A man robbed the Quality Inn, 4747 Montgomery Road at about 1:45 a.m. on Aug. 16. The armed suspect jumped behind the counter, took money and then fled the scene, according to authorities. The robbery took less than two minutes, officials added.
Officials say the suspect took a binder containing credit card information.
The K9 unit at the scene tracked the suspect north on Montgomery Road, but then lost him. Officials are still searching the area for the suspect, who they say was a black male wearing a red hoodie and a dark-colored cap at the time of the robbery (pictured above).
Norwood police say the suspect also stole a laptop and an undisclosed amount of cash on Aug. 2 at the same location.
Warrants have been filed against the suspect, Jalen Burroughs, 19, on robbery charges.
If you have any information about the whereabouts of Burroughs or any other information about the crime, contact Norwood police at (513)458-4520.
