NORWOOD, Ohio - Police investigated a suspicious package that was found at the Wright-Patt Credit Union in Norwood Monday afternoon.
The incident happened in the 4500 block of Lafayette Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
According to police, a man walked into the credit union, set a package down on the counter and exited the building. After an investigation, police say the package contained a plastic spaceship and nothing criminal was found.
The intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Smith Road was closed while officials investigated the scene, which slowed traffic in the area.
Police say the bomb squad was also called to assist in the investigation.
