NORWOOD, Ohio - An overturned semi-truck on the Norwood Lateral shut down the eastbound 562 exit ramp Thursday night.
Police have shut down the exit ramp while the accident is being cleared. A definite timetable for when the accident will be cleared has not been determined but police have indicated the cleanup would likely last until at least 1 a.m.
Multiple reports were received around 7:15 p.m. that a semi-truck had overturned on the exit ramp from eastbound 562 to southbound I-75. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, police said.
The driver of the overturned truck is the only person to suffer injuries as a result of the accident, police said. The condition of the driver is unknown but police dispatch indicated the injuries appeared to be non life-threatening.
