Child struck by vehicle in Norwood

NORWOOD, Ohio - A child was struck by a vehicle in Norwood near the intersection of Montgomery Road and Norwood Avenue Friday afternoon, according to police.
The child was taken to Children's Hospital with unknown injuries.
Police temporarily shut down the intersection while officials investigate the incident. The road is now open.
It is not clear if the driver was still on the scene when police arrived.
No other details are available at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
