Police investigate Northside homicide

CINCINNATI - A woman was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in Northside.

Just before 4 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 4300 block of Beech Hill Avenue after someone called police saying they had just witnessed a shooting.

When police arrived, they found a woman lying in the grass outside a home. The Hamilton County coroner pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

It's unclear if the home the woman was found at was her home or not.

The victim has been identified as Candace DeMoss, 20.

Officers have not released any information on possible suspects.
