CINCINNATI - A Mt. Auburn woman appeared in court Thursday morning to answer to charges that she allowed another person to abuse her two sons.

Candy Johnson, 28, knowingly allowed her spouse to abuse and torture her 5-year-old and 2-year-old sons, according to a police report. Johnson is facing one count of child endangerment.

Police say Todd Napier caused physical injuries to the boys that were so severe they needed medical treatment at a hospital. Investigators claim the beatings happened multiple times.

Napier is facing two child endangerment charges and a domestic violence charge. A judge set Napier's bond at $100,000 for each of his two child endangering charges.

Police arrested Johnson Wednesday. A judge set her bond at $1 million during her Thursday morning court hearing.
