Suspect on the loose after pursuit, crash in Lincoln Heights

LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio - Police are searching for a suspect after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash following a chase Wednesday afternoon.
The brief pursuit happened around 12 p.m. and ended when the vehicle police were chasing crashed in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue, according to dispatch reports.
One person was taken into custody, but police say a passenger ran from the vehicle toward Van Buren Street.
Police have not released any further information about the cause of the crash, the reason for the chase or the suspects involved.
