LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio - Two people are currently in jail after a drug bust at a local in-home daycare early Saturday morning.

Lincoln Heights Police say they found more than a pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, ammunition as well as money in a home in the 1000 block of Behles Avenue.

That home, police say, is where Samona Crooks, a licensed daycare provider, was watching several children as part of her daycare business. When police searched the home, they found Crooks inside along with her toddler daughter.

Police say the man they were targeting, Rashone Scott, was not home at the time of Crooks' arrest, but he later turned himself in.

According to investigators, Crooks and Scott were selling drugs during daycare business hours while other children were at the home.

Scott has been charged with two counts of drug trafficking in a school zone and other drug charges. Crooks is facing a count of permitting drug abuse.
