CINCINNATI - As Cincinnati kicks off the 13th Neighborhood Enhancement Program, the Lighthouse Youth Services is joining the effort.
The Neighborhood Enhancement Program, NEP is a 90-day blitz of city services to kick-start revitalization efforts in individual communities.
Kennedy Heights is the focus of the next NEP round beginning March 1st.
For the first time Lighthouse Youth Services is joining the program with the help of a grant from the Department of Labor . The grant, just one of 15 given to groups across the country, aims to reconnect formerly incarcerated 18 to 22-year-olds with communities while building skills for a brighter future.
Following the efforts in Kennedy Heights, the NEP is slated for Pendleton in mid-August.
