CINCINNATI - Crews responded to a structure fire on Burley Circle in Greenhills Tuesday evening.
The fire broke out around 7:45 p.m. at a townhouse located in a two-story duplex, according to officials.
Authorities say everyone inside the building managed to safely escape, but two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
"In the course of our activities we did have two firefighters that had minor injuries, one was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, but the other was not transported," said Chief Tony Spaeth.
Chief Spaeth said firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames when they arrived on the scene. Crews made an aggressive attack and managed to contain the fire.
An initial investigation suggests the fire started on the second floor, but the cause of the fire is unknown.
Fire crews from Greenhills, Forest Park, Springfield Township, Mount Healthy and Woodlawn responded to the scene.
