Local mall instituting 'escort' policy

CINCINNATI - Beginning August 6, the Tri-County Mall is implementing a "Youth Escort Policy."
This means anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult (over 21) on Fridays and Saturdays between 4 p.m. and closing. One adult is permitted to supervise up to four young people. Anyone filling the role of an escort must be able to provide proof of age.
The mall says the goal of the program is to promote safety, and create a family-friendly atmosphere.
