Police investigate Forest Park shooting death

FOREST PARK, Ohio - Police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old in Forest Park Thursday night.
Forest Park police responded to reports of shots fired in the 2000 block of Waycross Road at about 11:40 a.m. The police searched the area and found a dead man with gunshot wounds lying in the grass in the front of 1995 Waycross Road, according to information police released Friday morning.
Officials say the 27-year-old man died from the gunshot wounds. Authorities have not released information about the identity of the man.
Investigators are following up with leads for possible suspects and a motive. They have not released any additional details about the death at this time.
