FOREST PARK, Ohio - Police have made two arrests in connection to a double shooting in Forest Park early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to a report of multiple shots fired in the area of Pennington Court off of Promenade Drive around 2:30 a.m.

While officers were at the scene investigating, two people who had been shot arrived at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. The victims were later transported to University Hospital where they were treated and released.

Forest Park Police Department Lieutenant Jeff Larsh said one victim suffered a gunshot wound to the pelvic region, and the second suffered one gunshot wound to the thigh, and one to the arm.

Orther Mitchell, 20, has been charged with aggravated robbery and carrying concealed weapons.

Demetrius Brazile, 30, is charged charged with weapons under disability.

Two weapons used in the crime, a shotgun and a small handgun, were recovered.

The shooting remains under investigation and additional charges are likely.
