EVANSTON, Ohio - Investigators are trying to determine what caused a large fire at an apartment building in Evanston that left several residents trapped Tuesday afternoon.

Crews were called to the 3200 block of Fairfield Avenue near Hackberry around 1:15 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find the building engulfed in flames with people trapped inside and hanging out of windows.

Firefighters were able to rescue everyone inside the building and no injuries were reported.
