EVANSTON, Ohio - Police are investigating a shooting that happened during an alleged drug transaction in Evanston Saturday.
A man flagged down police officers who were already in the area just before 6 p.m. Saturday after his brother was shot in the upper torso while the two were driving on Montgomery Road.
Police said the non-injured brother told them the shooting took place after a drug transaction.
Emergency crews transported the injured man to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was treated for non life-threatening injuries, according to reports.
The identities of the victim and his brother have not been released.
Police are searching for a black male with a light complexion who weighs around 140 pounds, has a shaved head and was last seen wearing all black clothing.
Charges related to the drug transaction have not been filed by police at this times.
