Train, semi collide in Elmwood Place

CINCINNATI - The intersection of Spring Grove Avenue and Vine Street in Elmwood Place remains shut down after a train and semi-truck collided Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the driver of the truck was trying to cross the train tracks when the semi was hit by the train around 1 p.m. The truck, which was empty, was cut in half.
No injuries were reported. The driver of the truck was cited, according to police.
The area remains shut down while officials investigate the crash.
