CINCINNATI - Six people were arrested after a large street fight broke out Wednesday night.
The fight broke out around 5 p.m. on Lombardy Street in Elmwood Place as a family was preparing to move out of their apartment.
Police say the family preparing to move out had angry going-away words for their neighbors that led to violent actions.
When officers arrived they allegedly found two men with large roofing tools, ready to hit others involved in the fight with them. Police also found several women who were grabbing hair among other violent actions.
Police say the fight involved not just adults, but children as well.
Most of those arrested continued to yell and scream as they were taken into custody, including one man who kicked at the cruiser door multiple times.
In one suspect's case, he was just released from jail earlier in the day.
Arrested are Terry Watkins, John Watkins, Tasha Watkins, Billy Hollan, Kelly Barrett and Kim Sandlin. The charges against those arrested range from assault to menacing to resisting arrest.
