CINCINNATI - Just in time for a major holiday travel weekend, a winter storm is making its way across the country.
The storm dropping snow throughout the Midwest prompted airlines to cancel more than 1,000 flights, according to the Associated Press
Most flights out of CVG were on time Friday morning. A US Airways flight to Charlotte set to departure at 9:25 a.m. was canceled. For the latest information click here.
Travel out of Dayton and Indianapolis is similar to start the busy holiday travel weekend.
Officials with Greyhound report service in and out of Indianapolis is down until 10 a.m. and the route between Minneapolis and Chicago down until 11 a.m.
