'The Magical Adventures of Merlin' teaches value of friendship at the Taft Theatre

CINCINNATI - 9 On Your Side talks with the artistic director and the young man who plays the character of Merlin about an upcoming performance by the Children's Theater of Cincinnati at the Taft Theatre.

The musical "The Magical Adventure of Merlin" will make its word premiere in Cincinnati. It is described as a coming-of-age tale with the back story of Merlin, his childhood friend, King Arthur and the beautiful, bewitching Morgana as teens.

In addition to traditional song and dance elements, the production features magic tricks, slight-of-hand, illusions and other kid-friendly entertainment elements.

Performances are at the Taft Theatre stage Feb. 15-17 and Feb. 23. Ticket prices range in price from $7 - $20.
