CINCINNATI - Voters waiting in line outside the Hamilton County Board of Elections were greeted by entertainer will.i.am and actress Vivica A Fox. The celebrities were on hand to rally Obama supporters and encourage Ohio voters to vote early.
"I'm here to thank all the folks here in Cincinnati who come out on a Saturday, cold, away from their families to do the right thing and that's to do an early vote," will.i.am said.
The singer also released a new election song this weekend titled "Great Times."
"What I mean by that is that great times will come when you dedicate yourself, great times will come when you educate yourself and discipline yourself, and have tolerance on differences," he said. "'Great Times' will come when we have a united America."
Both celebrities spent several minutes shaking hands and taking pictures with voters before leaving for another rally in Cleveland.
"Every vote counts," Fox said. "Please let your voice be heard. Do not take this election for granted and think it's going to be handed to him."
The Hamilton County Board of Elections will remain open until 2 p.m. on Saturday. Voting hours on Sunday will go from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
